What do you do at ElringKlinger? What are your responsibilities?
I work as a project manager for digital transformation with a focus on HR. I work with the specialist department and IT to develop digitalisation solutions in various projects.
How did you come to work at ElringKlinger and what made you decide to work here?
I applied for an advertised position through Stepstone. What particularly appealed to me was the fact that ElringKlinger takes a holistic approach to digital transformation. At the time of my application, the company already had its own digitisation department that worked across divisions. This showed me that the company already had a certain level of strategic and methodological maturity and was not starting from scratch. The focus on HR was ideal for me, as I have an HR background myself.

What do you like most about your work and why?
I most enjoy the strategic work and the holistic consideration of existing structures and processes. At ElringKlinger, we have a great vision for the future and you can see that it is based on a real drive that I share. I also appreciate the collaboration across many departments. And the cooperation in our team and with my manager is great.

What do you like about ElringKlinger as an employer?
At ElringKlinger, you really have a lot of freedom and flexibility. You can flexibly arrange your office and mobile working hours so that you can balance your professional and private life well. I also like our office concept with its many open spaces and the new work approach. The Erms Valley is beautiful, and when I drive to the office in the morning, I am surrounded by greenery.

What was the highlight of your week?
Our last coordination meeting between our department and IT was very successful. We also received the final approval for a new global digitalisation project.
How do you switch off?
I love travelling. It broadens your perspective and takes you out of your daily routine. But I also switch off when I'm doing sport.
