Alongside various sealing solutions, the focus is on expertise in the field of drive technology and core competencies developed by "Elring – Das Original" to address the needs of global manufacturers.

Elring spare parts in OE quality for the professional repair of engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, and auxiliary units
Elring's pedigree of excellence in sealing technology spans more than 130 years. Today, the global "Elring – Das Original" brand includes a comprehensive range of spare parts – more than 21,000 items in total – for the professional repair of engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, and auxiliary units in Original Equipment quality. The entire Elring product range for passenger and commercial vehicles is tailored precisely to requirements in the respective markets. A case in point: the product portfolio already includes around 500 component numbers for Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturers and is undergoing continuous expansion. At this year's Automechanika trade show in Shanghai, the focus will be on plastic oil pans for commercial vehicles and an extended product range of components relating to electric vehicles.

New addition to the Aftermarket segment: plastic oil pans for commercial vehicles
Low weight together with corrosion and chemical resistance: Elring is showcasing a new addition to its aftermarket portfolio in the form of an innovative plastic oil pan for trucks that is designed specifically for the OM 471 family of diesel engines. The ready-to-install oil pan is available under Elring number B36.520 (suitable for A 471 010 91 13) and is supplied complete with gaskets and fastenings. Developed specifically for the extreme conditions encountered in the commercial vehicle sector, it is designed to withstand permanently high operating temperatures in the engine compartment and extreme temperature fluctuations caused by cold starts. Precision workmanship and the use of lightweight materials ensure reliable sealing and weight savings of up to 60% compared to conventional metal oil pans. The long-term objective is to establish plastic oil pans for commercial vehicles as an integral part of Elring's product portfolio, thus complementing the existing range for passenger cars. Two other applications – suitable for the Iveco Cursor 11 and 13 engine series – are already under development.

In the area of plastic modules, the Aftermarket range is being extended to include new product lines such as oil separators, oil filter housings, intake manifolds, and timing case covers – alongside the expansion of the range for valve covers and oil pans.

Focus on broadening the product portfolio for electric vehicles
ElringKlinger's business activities are driven to a large extent by current trends in the automotive industry, such as electrification and sustainability. "Elring – Das Original" already offers a wide range of components for electric drive units to ensure reliable repair and sustainable use at an aftermarket level. These include housing gaskets and shaft seals as well as replacement gasket sets for the repair of electric drive units that are individually tailored to European, Asian, and American manufacturers and whose range is being steadily expanded.
