Drawing on its innovative product portfolio centered around lightweighting, sealing, and shielding technology as well as electromobility, the ElringKlinger Group has been making a significant contribution to sustainable mobility. At IAA Transportation 2024, the global player will be focusing on its expertise in the field of battery technology – embracing “#transformationpioneer” as its motto. The world's premier trade show for logistics, commercial vehicles, and the transport sector takes place in Hanover, Germany, from September 17 to 22, 2024. 

Dettingen/Erms, Hanover (Germany), September 16, 2024 +++ ElringKlinger was quick to position itself as a specialist in electromobility and can now look back on more than a decade of experience as a series supplier in the field of battery technology. The Group operates as a one-stop shop for everything from development and prototyping to testing and series production. “Sustainability and climate change mitigation are also considered key issues for the future in the transportation and logistics industry," says Jürgen Weingärtner, Senior Vice President Electric Drive and Battery Technology at ElringKlinger. “Our strength lies in our ability to think holistically and, as a full-service supplier, to implement smart, tailor-made solutions for our customers.” 

In the field of battery technology, ElringKlinger AG offers high-performance components for drives and auxiliary power units, such as cell contacting systems, cell housings and covers as well as modules and complete lithium-ion storage systems. 

At IAA Transportation, the Group will be showcasing an all-electric light commercial vehicle by the name of Evum – the result of its collaborative efforts with EVUM Motors GmbH. Among the other products to be presented is an ElringKlinger battery system that stands out on account of its particularly high degree of adaptability to customers' specific mobility requirements. 

With the transport and logistics sector facing a wide range of challenges, it is essential that suppliers come up with concepts that are both intelligent and innovative. ElringKlinger is committed to actively shaping the transformation process with its future-facing portfolio.
