Metalworking in Thale. Customized, reliable, and fast.
ElringKlinger’s Thale plant specializes in metalworking and manufactures brackets, housing parts, and reactors, among other things, for both small- and large-batch production.
Development processes are followed in close consultation with our customers and are implemented swiftly and reliably in the construction department – entirely in line with the customer’s requirements, of course, and for either large- or small-batch production. Our core areas of expertise include, in particular, manufacturing housings and canning catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters.
Custom projects or large-scale production
We carry out innovative metalworking and welding processes and fulfill customized powder-coating orders in an area spanning some 6,000 square meters. Our strengths include the production of brackets, housing parts, and reactors, regardless of whether we are making individual parts or whole series. We use a semi-automated process to produce circular housings, complete with laser cutting, rolling, longitudinal welding, electropolishing, and edge flanging.
Our machinery includes punching and laser-cutting machines as well as latest-generation CNC press brakes, which guarantee fast, ultra-precise work. For abrasive blasting, customers can choose to have untreated or stainless steel blasted separately, while powder coating is offered with or without recovery of the powder.
